The standard we follow
This site is built and tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard that United States courts and the Department of Justice use when applying the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What we do
Every page is checked automatically against WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 Level AA rules before it goes live, and any failure blocks the release.
The whole site can be operated with a keyboard alone, including booking an appointment. The focused element always shows a visible outline.
Text meets the required contrast against its background, and page structure uses real headings, landmarks and labels so a screen reader can announce it correctly.
Every meaningful image carries alternative text, and animation is turned off automatically for anyone whose device asks to reduce motion.
Booking without the website
If any part of this site gets in your way, you do not have to use it. Call us at (973) 583-2400 during business hours and we will book your appointment, answer your questions and give you any information on this site over the phone, in English, Spanish or Portuguese.

Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a one-time job. We re-check the site whenever we change it, and we welcome any report that helps us find something our testing missed.
